First few days:

and then by working hard at what you do




you can become engaged with your occupation..

Success:



Success is a funny thing..




And quite often sneaks up when you least expect…




The upshot of this is that as a result of a recent interview where I corrected the information asymmetry and provided a stronger correlation between what I said and the questions asked..




I got a job!

Ongoing research has indicated that there may not be an effective correlation match between what I say in interviews..




..and what is heard or not heard..






I have a plan for this..

economics of pants


Lucky Pants:



In my job hunting research I have undertaken some regression analysis of my activities. This is a form of analysis developed by some smart people for an entirely different reason. Nevertheless it seemed appropriate….




This analysis involves looking at two factors where there are many factors to consider. These are then looked at in detail. There are many factors, all of which are variable, in the job hunting process. This can range from job, location, time of day, number of nervous interviewees and relevant experience. I have chosen to focus on my lucky pants….




These remain constant while all other factors vary like there are ants in their pants (not in my lucky pants)…




Looking at the evidence where I have had 6,000 interviews and no offers the correlation between my lucky undergarments and success is nil….




Based on this I am going to change my lucky strategy and vary my lucky smalls….
